I am pleased to announce that Mr Haroon Siddiqui, well known journalist and author will visit IFN for Sunday Adult Lecture as follo ws:

Subject : Being Muslim

Mr. Siddiqui is one of Canada's most honoured journalists. He is a member of the Order of Canada, the nation's highest civilian Honour, as well as the Order of Ontario and winner of several journalistic awards.

Br. Siddiqui is the author of Being Muslim (Groundwood Books, Toronto, Berkeley, Calif.). The book is an assessment of the most current issues affecting Muslims and also all Western democracies in the wake of 9/11. Being Muslim is a cross-cultural attempt to bridge many of these different worlds. It is a readable explanation of the most complex and emotion-laden issues of our troubled times.
