Unlike traditional service organizations Lake County United does not receive government money or funding from the majority of service oriented foundations, which makes your generous donation even more critical for Lake County United. We are grateful to you for your continuing support.

For regulatory purposes, there are two legal non-profit entities. Lake County United is a 501(c)4 tax-exempt organization that engages in advocacy for its members’ issues. Lake County Sponsors is a 501(c)3 tax exempt organization which undertakes research and leadership development efforts in support of Lake County United’s issues. Most of our work falls under the 501(c) 3, which is Lake County Sponsors; however, we are publicly known as Lake County United. Donations are tax deductible.
